The Ookii (大きい - 'big' in Japanese) Vase is a one-of-a-kind hand thrown vase. The vase is thrown right here in our Copenhagen studio, it then dries for 4-6 weeks, is bisque fired, glazed and fired again. In total each vase can take around 2 months to complete, from start to finish. The large size and weight of each vase allows it to handle a more robust bouquet. The vases also look quite nice with a single large leaf or flower, or a simple branch.
